Instead of parchment, in Tefillin for the hand there is a note "You've been fooled"

Shipi Haritan |

A traditional Jew about 80 years old, decided to check the Tefillin after 11 years of putting them on every morning. He gave the Tefillin to a known Sofer to check them. He opened the tefillin boxes and discovered to his astonishment that instead of a piece of parchment, there was a note with the words "You've been fooled"

After 11 years of not testing his Tefillin, a traditional Jew, about 80 years old, decided to send them for testing to the Sofer and Tester L. C. He did not imagine that for over a decade, he was putting on empty Tefillin, without parchment, without any real Jewish content - (Parshiyot). What was found inside the Tefillin caused C. a deep shock.

After he opened the head and hand Battim (boxes) of Tefillin, and discovered that they were empty. He was horrified to discover that inside the Tefillin box, a note with the inscription: "You've been fooled"

In a conversation with 0404 News, C. said that the owner of the Tefillin is a traditional person who decided before the holidays to check the Tefillin that he puts on every morning and that he had not checked them for 11 years. "He came to me and told me that he has been putting these Tefillin on for 11 years, after he previously checked his old Tefillin and was told that they were invalid and needed to be replaced."

"How evil can the person who did this be"? asked the Sofer in pain. "I really hope there are no more Tefillin like this on the market."

C. had to tell that Jew what he discovered inside the Tefillin, and for that he took the trouble to get to his house. As soon as he saw the note, "he grabbed his head in his hands - it hurts him a lot."
